Happppyy Fridayy! It’s been a while since I posted anything beauty related, so I thought why not share with you some easy peasy beauty hacks, that you can use in your daily life. These are very simple and I personally follow all of them. So here are my 5 beauty hacks, I hope they help you 🙂
Classical Conditioning: No, this is not the theory that I’am talking about, if you know what I mean 🙂 This is about using a hair conditioner as a base before shaving. If you are one of the girls who swear by shaving your legs and hands, obviously because its easier and quicker, then try using a conditioner. Apply it and leave it on for a few seconds, till it makes your hair soft giving you a closer and cleaner shave. Also your skin will be left feeling amazingly soft. I use the suave conditioner, it’s just a dollar and a freaking huge bottle lasting me forever.
Oil Dilution: Sometimes, when I’am in a hurry I forget to close the gel eyeliner lid or tighten the mascara tube properly. This dries them out and makes it difficult to apply smoothly, so instead of discarding them just add a drop of castor oil. Now make sure you add very little don’t over dilute it, best way to do is using a ear bud. Castor oil helps in thicker hair growth, so using them in your gel eyeliner and mascara will help your eyelashes.
Wet, wipe and clean: I don’t use make up or make up brushes too often, so deep cleaning them after every use is not required and sometimes not practical too. When you are running late or travelling and you cannot deep clean your brushes, then use your wet wipe to do it.Open a clean wet wipe and lay it out, take your brush and swirl it on the wet wipe a couple of times (clockwise/anticlockwise). You will see the make up from the brush will slowly transfer onto the wet wipe, leaving your brushes clean.Best thing is your brush will not be very wet too, so you can put it to use immediately.
Damp and Dab: Have you noticed sometimes your eye shadow is too powdery or too loose to apply. While picking it on the brush and applying, you notice a lot drops on your cheek too. To avoid this, pick the eye shadow on the brush and dampen it using your make up setting spray. Spray a little on the brush and then use it on the eyelid, you will notice the eye shadow sits well and the color also will be more pigmented.
Melt off: Sometimes using a waterproof eye liner or mascara makes it difficult to take it off, unless we scrub our eyes. To avoid this, use coconut oil to easily take off the eye make up. Take a little coconut oil between your fingers apply it in circular motions around the eyes. This will melt your make up in seconds, then take a tissue and wipe off your eyes well. You can do this to remove the make up on your face too, but its just a little messy and may not be suitable for acne prone or oily skin.
I hope this post was helpful, do let me know what is your favorite beauty hack. Have a great weekend! 🙂
