I legit panicked when I woke up this morning and scrolled through my Instagram feed that was majorly flooded with “Hello December” quotes! And I know I say this EVERY month, but seriously I cannot believe it’s December already! That means we are less than 29 days away from entering into a new year and I haven’t lost even one pound since January. Which translates into- NOTHING has changed since the start of this year. I don’t know how to feel right now, I’ve got mixed emotions about it. Yes, 2016 was a fairly good year personally (shitty AF globally) but I barely managed to do all that I had planned at the beginning of this year. Dodging my goals is every year’s highlight and this year is no exception. I think the reason most of us end up feeling disappointed as December approaches is that; at the beginning of every year we set over-enthusiastic goals for ourselves. This not only overwhelms us but also leads us into a space where ignorance actually becomes a comfortable seat to fall back on. So this time around instead of making a huge list, I’ve decided to make a note of only 3 important goals that I’d like to work on. This way I’ll have less to worry and more to do in the year 2017! Ok, did I just say 2017? It’s going to be 2017? Someone please hold me, I’am going to freak out thinking of how old I’ll turn this year! Ok, one day and one problem at a time! I hope at least some of you did manage to get everything right and killed it at life. If not, then welcome home!
Despite all this, I cannot deny that I love December. It’s a month of joy and everything around seems so magical! So, Happy December you guys, one last month to sulk over the eleven lost months! Cheers 🙂
A chunky knit cardigan is such a great piece to own this winter. It’s super cozy, casual and so low maintenance compared to heavy coats. Especially this camel colored one from Stylewe with its unique balloon sleeve is perfect and its actually pretty thick to keep you warm on a cold windy day. It’s also amazingly comfortable as you can tell from my pictures, great for layering and to just throw on any outfit. I sized up to get the slouchy oversized look and paired it with a pair of ripped jeans and a blanket scarf. This is definitely my goto look on winter weekends.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!
