Maxi Dress: c/o Femella
Sandals: Forever 21
I quite often think of how quickly time has flown by with life constantly swinging us up and down, making us feel and look so small. As we step into a new month, I come to realize that we as ordinary humans have control over very few things in life. Time is surely not one of them. Only if I could turn back time and do the things I’ve been longing to do. Take up that class I’ve been wanting to, visit that place whose pictures I’ve been incessantly pinning on my pinterest travel board, call that long lost friend instead of texting, tell my parents that I’am always there for them, sit by the beach before the summer ends, wear my tan lines like an armor as we enter into fall, take a walk under the sunny sky, soak myself up with the sweet summer rain, just as it stops raining pause to smell the fresh wet mud and let the cool breeze become a blanket on my skin. Look out for all this to seek happiness and to just tell myself that it’s always more about the journey and very less about the end.
If you remember I had introduced Femella to you guys a couple of months back, check here. In contrast to my last post with Femella where I wore a short shift dress, this one is a maxi dress with the cold shoulder pattern. I realized that I really need to tear down my wardrobe with all my sweet summer buys, before we hit fall and cover ourselves up. I’ve never worn a maxi dress on the blog as far as I can remember. So this is definitely a great addition for warmer days with cold shoulder and the slit. The slightly abstract floral pattern too screams summer, but I for some reason find it perfect for fall too. I guess its the color, but may be with some booties and a jacket it will definitely work for fall! Well, lets see if I can style it for cooler days too, may be leave that for the future.
I hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for reading. Have a great week ahead!
