A few weeks back while running some errands, the mister suddenly realized he needed an urgent influx of coffee in his system and the nearest Starbucks was next to the target store. So as he got in with excitement to order his favorite hazelnut coffee, I decided to take a quick peek into target. Honestly, I don’t shop much for clothing items at target, I either don’t like the collection or they over priced! But but but.. they are highly generous at their clearance section, so I head straight to that side of the store doing my happy dance, anticipating to find some great deals.Very soon my enthusiasm is stashed, as there’s not a single item I like.
Weirdly these not so bright and unappealing pants caught my eye and I thought they were very interesting and I had never owned anything like this before. If my mom were to see it, she would probably say they are meant to be worn as pajamas. The mister’s reaction wasn’t very different too! The only saving grace was the fact that I paid 6 bucks for them! When I was back home, a little regret did creep into my mind because I probably knew the pants wouldn’t be used.
Last weekend, in a hurry to find something to wear, I stumbled upon these untouched pants and decided to give them a try.Interestingly, I really liked these pants and decided to keep it simple with a black tee and a denim jacket for the rather lousy, gloomy and windy weather! The vertical striped pant gave a casual comfy touch to the look and I accessorized it with a stack of bangles and hand cuffs. Also carried my new favorite bucket bag and donned these flashy silver colored shoes. These are definitely a new addition to my wardrobe, very different from what I generally wear, let me know what you thought of them!
Very soon, I will need to open the huge suitcase of winter wear I stacked away this summer. Bye bye shorts, I will see u soon if I remain the same size and can fit into you next year too!
Until next time, have a great week!
