There’s no denying that I absolutely love shopping, in fact I have no shame in admitting that I’am a hoarder when it comes to clothes and jewelry! Although I’d wish I shopped more smartly, money wise (not that I don’t) but there are weak moments when you love something so much, that you end up ignoring the price tag (on purpose), duh! After the wallet massacre, I go on a guilt trip binging on some chocolate ice-cream making fake promises that it would be my last shopping trip for the month or even for the entire year, depends on the damage you’ve just done! Every time I go shopping, I have a huge happy grin and a feeling that the world is free of all sorrows. Yeah, it’s the calm before the storm, lady, beware! We all can never get over the hunt for the perfect dress, the perfect shoes, the perfect white shirt, the perfect bag and the list will go on. So why not make sure that in this never ending journey we get a little more for our buck?
So when The Unlimited Store contacted me to take up the #3kunlimitedchallenge I was excited to explore my options and all under INR 3000! I went prepared that I may come back with a maximum of 2 pieces and can put together probably just one look.As I walked into the store, the shopaholic in me had awakened and I ended up adding all the pieces I loved not realizing that I just have 3K to spend. After the proper scanning and making sure I added the entire store into the bag, I sheepishly walked into the trial room. Obviously now I had the daunting task of selecting the pieces I liked and they all had to be under 3K! After a lot of speculation and 2-3 knocks on the door by the sales woman, who was making sure I was alive and did not suffocate in the pile of clothes, I finally made my choice.Surprisingly, I was able to pick up 4 pieces from the store and all under 3K, my day was made! The Unlimited store has something for everyone and with such modest prices, I’d say it’s time to pile up! 😀
Today I’m sharing the first look sporting this floral double slit skirt with a tee, which is so very spring. The skirt caught my eye, with its cute cherry blossoms like print and the side slits were a bonus.I wanted to keep it casual, so I paired it with a pink tee and nude lace-ups on my feet. I’ve caught the choker fever and I think it’s here to stay.Keeping the look simple, casual and more importantly wearable for all days was my goal.
