If you ask me, what is the one thing I definitely want to check off before the bright summer ends? I would hurriedly rush to my wardrobe and pull out the brightest short dress! Strolling around town in a little yellow dress is literally one of my summer cravings. This dress came just in time for the last few humid days of summer. Thanks to Romwe, I could finally have my own little yellow dress moment! Can we take a minute to just stare at this cute little dress with ruffles? This dress is so me when it comes to being loud and also sort of an attention seeker but the ruffled sleeve & neck pattern is so feminine and lady like aka unlike me tries to sit elegantly, ah chuck it, folds legs and sits comfortably umm ok that was my attempt at standing up to the dress! But honestly this has to be the cutest dress I’ve owned in a long time and the length is just perfect for the humid evenings. When I walked out in this dress I did get a couple of compliments, I mean its hard to NOT notice it ha. I probably blinded a few with the color too.I mainly love how the dress fits, its perfectly comfortable and looks chic too.
Yellow just brings out such a natural glow on your skin when you wear it. I’m often asked, how I don’t hesitate to wear such bright bold colors, considering my warm skin tone. Most of them shy away because they believe bright colors look a tad bit brighter on them. Honestly I think bright bold colors on warmer/ darker skin tones look the best! I mean what’s not like about bright quirky colors? They just stand out like a boss and are so fun! Except for when you have to take pictures in them. Then you’re constantly struggling to not whitewash your skin tone v/s keeping the bright color at its natural best the struggle is real I tell ya! I have no qualms about donning the brightest of them all, I ain’t letting an extra amount of melanin decide the colors in my wardrobe! So irrespective of your shape, size and color wear what you love. Because it’s really that simple 🙂
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time, have a great week ahead!
