I woke up to a dark room and the clock read 9.a.m, that only meant one thing (aside from that I overslept) it was a gloomyy beginning to the day! It’s getting really windy and chilly out here, staying warm is my main motive. The heater at home is working overtime,on days like this my house may be mistaken for a hot furnace! On one such gloomy day I had the urge to pull out the brightest sweater in my wardrobe. Bright neon colors are great when there’s a backdrop of dark clouds and no sign of the sun.
I realized I’ve not done many skirt outfit posts, that’s because I’m not a skirt person at all. I don’t own too many skirts for that matter, but this grey knit skirt strangely appealed to me. In this outfit there were two new additions, one being the knit maxi skirt and this bright neon sweater. I own a couple of mustard yellow sweaters, but this eye catching color is different and I instantly knew it belonged to a bright color lover like me!I initially thought may be a grey monochrome outfit would be apt for the skirt, but later the weather pressed me to change my mind to a brighter look. The splash of neon prevents my outfit from going into a neutral territory. Now as the ‘India calling’ days are nearing I’am gravitating towards Indian accents such as the bag and the dangling earrings.I also carried a royal blue scarf for when it got colder, the color was such a great addition to the look. I paired this whole look with my good ole ankle boots and added a swipe of pink lipstick.
I hope you liked this look, do let me know in the comments.Thank you for reading, have a great week ahead.
