Yes, I’ve been away for a bit now. Y’all know I’m in India and I’ve been busy traveling, visiting relatives, friends and just doing things that I know I’ll miss once I go to ‘Mericaa! Also,I’m busy doing a crash course on ‘how to look like a balloon in 10 days’ by stuffing your face with all the food the moment you eye it! Spring/summer please delay your arrival, I’am totally not ready for you yet. This past week has been crazy busy, if you want tips on how to visit infinite number of places when you have limited time, don’t hesitate to ping me. But, on a serious note, I’m thoroughly enjoying every bit of this trip, and just being in your own country makes you feel content. Although I’am sitting here typing this post on my laptop with the fan running at its max speed,I know my peeps in the US are facing a huge meltdown, literally. I’ve been eyeing all the snow pictures on Instagram and the crazy cold that has been doing the rounds. So I’m busting out a look I shot in the brutal winters before I left for India. While editing these pictures, I almost broke into a sweat just by looking at the thick layers I wore, fanning myself for this 84F weather over here!

In one of my previous post’s I spoke about Brandzaffair to you guys, read here for full details on this amazing ‘online shopping made easier’ portal. I was casually browsing through the Brandzaffair website and saw that Old navy had a flat 30% off and instantly clicked into the site. This was a month ago, when I needed something to keep me warm for the lowest temp days. I found this dark green colored plaid blazer coat and with the great discount it was a steal! Brandzaffair gives you quick updates on such discount days and many more great things that can help you save some bucks and also make your shopping experience a wonderful one. Check them out for more deets!

It was a while since I had purchased this maroon skater skirt and the grid fuzzy sweater but never got a chance to sport them. This preppy look came together well when I added the plaid coat as a finishing touch. This is definitely something new that I’ve tried, out of my usual dressing self.Totally apt for days when you have no courage to bare your legs, but still want to sport your shortest skirt! I hope you liked this look, thanks for reading.

Until next time, have a great day!

P.S. Being my clumsy forgetful self, I forgot to take off the tag on the coat * insert embarrassed yet don’t care emoji *. If you spot it, then I guess it was way too obvious! πŸ˜€

haha India seems to be treating you very well ! And the crash course is an absolute necessity if you are an indian-not-living-in-India! πŸ˜€ Coming back to the look, how gorgeous are you? I absolutely love the way the green and maroon colors collide – makes the entire outfit light up. If this is something out of your usual zone, I’d say ‘go girl sport it more often!’ , because you look fantastic πŸ™‚

ps- After glancing twice, I did get a glimpse of the tag but hey only after looking very closely, so all good πŸ˜€

Stuffing your face is a must when visiting India (just be careful about what you eat). Love the mix of plaid. It’s also a forgiving print in case you feel like you’ve overeaten πŸ˜‰
