Hey Hey Hey! Ok, I CANNOT contain my excitement. Although I told myself not to sound like a kid in a candy store, I JUST CAN’T! I am back, after a loooonnng break of two months, not sure if that’s a break or what. I had no idea that I could comfortably sail through the social media drought in my life, without dying or gasping for breath! But I’m so happy to be back and blogging again. The truth is, this blogging break wasn’t a planned one. For some time, I did get busy with a number of things back home and then the unplanned break grew from weeks into months in a blink. This did give me plenty of time to reflect upon life in general and also ponder over a new direction for my blog. I’m planning on making a whole different post on taking a blogging break and the various things I learnt from it. So, If you’re interested in reading it, then follow my blog to keep yourself updated on my new posts. For now, I hope you’ve all been doing great and missed me a little while I was away. I had a fantastic trip back home, I think a piece of my heart will always stay there.

As a blogger, I am always on the look out for brands that put in a little extra to bring something unique into the market. It’s very exciting to work with brands that I know my readers would love and appreciate. Today, I am thrilled to  partner with one such brand, Varnika Arora! The brand Varnika Arora, carries an eclectic mix of jewelry pieces perfectly curated for the new age modern woman. It always feels surreal when your sensibilities match with that of the brand you are working with, it makes the whole process so much more fun. So it did not come to me as a surprise when I fell in love with each and every piece of her collection. VA’s  collection is clean, minimal and definitely a winner for women who appreciate the details. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handmade for today’s contemporary woman, who wants to make a statement with subtle yet captivating pieces.

The collection comprises of uniquely handcrafted pieces under categories ranging from earrings, neck pieces, chokers, brooches, bangles, handcuffs to kamarbandhs. Varnika’s main focus when she started out was to combine the best of both worlds, the modern cuts seamlessly blended with historical artistic references. The jewelry pieces are a beautiful combination of semi precious stones such as Amethyst, Turquoise, Black rutile, Tiger’s eye among many others into a fashionable mould. What I also admire is the creative naming of every piece in the collection. This speaks volumes about the team’s passion, love and thought added behind each piece that is designed and brought to life. Varnika has also curated the pieces keeping in mind the fuss free factor that we all look out for in our jewelry. The curious mix of colored semi precious stones with gold has never been so tastefully done.

In this post, I am showcasing an exclusive piece from her collection called Cabochan Tiger’s Eye Earring. This piece immediately caught my eye while I browsed through the website. It is nothing like what I have previously owned and this says a lot coming from a jewelry hoarder like me. The earrings aren’t too big or heavy, they’re extremely comfortable to wear for long hours. Like most of her pieces in the collection this pair too is very versatile, it can be worn with a formal gown, a saree or even with a tee+pair of jeans. These pieces definitely have been very thoughtfully designed for women who want to make a bold statement yet insist on keeping it minimal and classy.

I’m sure you would be intrigued by the collection as much as I did or even more. To view the full range and for more details do peek into Varnika Arora’s website. Just to make things a little interesting, I’ve listed some of my favorite pieces for your reference. Ring, Handcuff, Bangle, Waist Belt, Earring, Choker and Headgear.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed reading this post. Have an amazing day !

Love,

Swati
