Culottes Jumpsuit: Forever 21 (Sold out, similar here)

Blazer: H&M (Old, similar here)

Boots: Forever 21 (Sold out, love this)

Bag: H&M(Old, love this)

When I started my little blog roughly about 5-6 months back, little did I know of the challenges, the great deal of effort, the thinking and most importantly the amount of time I would have to spend on social media. I’am definitely one of those who enjoys being on the phone, my fingers are constantly doing the click, tap and scroll dance throughout the day, jumping from one app to the other, taking a quick sneak here and there for updates, so yeah you get the drill, right? Also, I’am a bit of a loner, so no questions asked and no complaints on that front! Basically,I was unaware about a lot of things (I still am) with respect to blogging and what came as a surprise was the amount of support I got from my fellow bloggers. I began to notice how the blogging community is comprised of amazing individuals, who really encourage and uplift each other. Sometimes I wonder if not for all the support, I would’ve definitely lost track and gone back into my shell. What I love most about blogging is how each individual is free to express themselves without having to fear about being judged. This platform has given me and several others an individualistic voice to visualize, create and publish thoughts that we otherwise would share with our lonesome selves, now open to the world.

Although It’s been only a short while since I began this blogging journey, I’ve come across several beautiful women, who are strong, opinionated, original and most importantly so supportive. Why I write this today is because, I recently got the opportunity to meet some of these gorgeous women, where I could connect, develop relationships that are beyond just double tapping and could relate with each others daily battles in this humdrum life. A thank you to everybody that I’ve met through this blogging medium, who have been actively commenting or evenΒ who have been silently reading and to the ones who don’t know of my existence yet inspire me through their work. I hope to meet and be inspired by many such beautiful women who can stand tall without a mask of make up or with a thick layer of one, because it’s rarely only the face that touches the heart.

Pardon me for that dramatic emo start, that’s not my usual daily self πŸ˜€ For a color sucker like me, it’s definitely a bold move to go all black and white. This culottes jumpsuit is definitely on my spring list to be worn on repeat, for its free, fun and flowy feel now say that fast. I rarely wore or shopped for monochrome stripes, but this somehow appealed to me in a quirky way.I had to wear this casual blazer as a cover up, because I was clearly not in the mood to prove how brave I would be posing on a chilly day with frost bites and chattering teeth underneath that smile. Y’all know, jewelry and me are like the burger-fries combo, one cannot just not order both! So I sported this oxidized choker to add a little drama and experiment with the look.

I really hope you enjoyed my take on this outfit, thanks for stopping by! Until next time have a great day!

When I just started, it wasn’t an easy one too because of the emotions and not really much of the workload. Still struggling a year now because I’m wasn’t active on social media before (and still isn’t!) , the marketing aspect is pretty challenging for a noob like me. Haha!

You should wear black and white more often! I love the cropped cut of this jumpsuit. And while I agree burger and fries are an unbeatable combination, I will say that I usually don’t order fries at in n out because their fries kinda suck. But their burger is unbeatable.

I love the vertical stripes on you! This culotte jumpsuit is perfection. I have a few of them in my closet and they are so easy, and even better, super comfortable!! I like how you kept your look monochromatic with all black and white and then threw a red jacket in there. My favorite combination. You look fab as always!

I loved your dramatic emo start, Swati. Lol. But seriously, I love what you wrote. I have found that especially living away from your own country, it’s easy to go into your shell but I am so glad and happy for all of us who have found a way to not just get by, but thrive at what we’re doing! And lucky you, to have gotten to meet some amazing bloggers. That’s always special. Coming back to your outfit, I love this look!!!
