When I started my little blog roughly about 5-6 months back, little did I know of the challenges, the great deal of effort, the thinking and most importantly the amount of time I would have to spend on social media. I’am definitely one of those who enjoys being on the phone, my fingers are constantly doing the click, tap and scroll dance throughout the day, jumping from one app to the other, taking a quick sneak here and there for updates, so yeah you get the drill, right? Also, I’am a bit of a loner, so no questions asked and no complaints on that front! Basically,I was unaware about a lot of things (I still am) with respect to blogging and what came as a surprise was the amount of support I got from my fellow bloggers. I began to notice how the blogging community is comprised of amazing individuals, who really encourage and uplift each other. Sometimes I wonder if not for all the support, I would’ve definitely lost track and gone back into my shell. What I love most about blogging is how each individual is free to express themselves without having to fear about being judged. This platform has given me and several others an individualistic voice to visualize, create and publish thoughts that we otherwise would share with our lonesome selves, now open to the world.
Although It’s been only a short while since I began this blogging journey, I’ve come across several beautiful women, who are strong, opinionated, original and most importantly so supportive. Why I write this today is because, I recently got the opportunity to meet some of these gorgeous women, where I could connect, develop relationships that are beyond just double tapping and could relate with each others daily battles in this humdrum life. A thank you to everybody that I’ve met through this blogging medium, who have been actively commenting or even who have been silently reading and to the ones who don’t know of my existence yet inspire me through their work. I hope to meet and be inspired by many such beautiful women who can stand tall without a mask of make up or with a thick layer of one, because it’s rarely only the face that touches the heart.
Pardon me for that dramatic emo start, that’s not my usual daily self 😀 For a color sucker like me, it’s definitely a bold move to go all black and white. This culottes jumpsuit is definitely on my spring list to be worn on repeat, for its free, fun and flowy feel now say that fast. I rarely wore or shopped for monochrome stripes, but this somehow appealed to me in a quirky way.I had to wear this casual blazer as a cover up, because I was clearly not in the mood to prove how brave I would be posing on a chilly day with frost bites and chattering teeth underneath that smile. Y’all know, jewelry and me are like the burger-fries combo, one cannot just not order both! So I sported this oxidized choker to add a little drama and experiment with the look.
I really hope you enjoyed my take on this outfit, thanks for stopping by! Until next time have a great day!
