Hello there, November! I have no freaking clue how and when this year almost flew by! Like where did all the time and days go? Is it just me or as you grow older the years are flying by faster? It feels like just yesterday I was traveling to India in the month of January this past year and it’s soon going to be January AGAIN! I don’t believe it’s been a whole year since then! Ok, before I go on about this like a headless chicken, I’m going to stop! So, how’s it on your side of the world? Any time pauses? Let me know, I might just move there to buy some extra time! I still have that belly fat to melt off! Checklist it seems, huh, who was I kidding when I enthusiastically made a checklist with things to be accomplished this year, written down neatly in a fancy diary. The dollar section at Target is to blame with all the fancy stationery stocked up, luring me into believing that if I write stuff down on colorful pages I’ll magically get down to doing them! Yeah sure I should’ve known myself better, anyway I hope you guys were much better on ticking off your check list. If not, then you still have 2 more months go for it! I’ll be right over here, on the couch, in my PJ’s, with some chicken wings. Sigh #SOML every single year!
Atlanta hasn’t received the fall/winter is coming notice yet, so the days are in 80’s and the evenings are a cooler breeze of relief! So to suit this paranoid, ever so confusing weather I wore this outfit on one of our weekend outings and it was perfect for the day. Along with a white tee-shirt, a pair of blue denims and a black dress, you can’t ever let go off, it’s safe to say skater skirts too are slowly becoming a fashion staple. Apart from the preppy vibe that they exude, they’re super fun and versatile if purchased in the right colors. They can be easily dressed up or down for any season, I purchased the same skirt in two colors and I styled the maroon one for cooler days check here. For this particular look, I decided to keep it very casual and wore this striped slouchy sweater from Romwe. It’s by far the softest most comfiest sweater and over this skirt it gave the perfect vibe I was looking for. I’ll tell you why this look is great apart from the comfort factor and the feel of the look. Skater skirts create an illusion of longer legs and are high waist so they cleverly cover that extra serving you had for lunch. I always over eat and this skirt automatically makes room for it, also when paired with a slouchy sweater it perfectly hides everything you want!
I hope you enjoyed reading this post, thanks for stopping by. Have a great week ahead!
