After the blinding bright neon colors that took over the blog in the previous post, this one will be a toned down but a very comfortable take on neutrals.Well, as if it wasn’t enough that it was super cold, it has gotten super windy too.If it wasn’t for my love for food and to intake calories, trust me, I would’ve gone with the wind, * rolls eyes *! It was super difficult to shoot on this particular day, thank god for the sunglasses, I could hide my watery eyeliner smudged eyes courtesy ‘the harsh wind.I have a new found appreciation for winters, please let the wind stay at bay.
You all know, my love for colors is an unending affair, I’d never cheat on it. Despite this fact, I’d now like to introduce my new found love for neutral tones.Neutral shades are great for a casual look, it also has a sophisticated touch to it.When everything fails, all you want to do is sport a simple outfit without too much effort. This prettily knit sand colored sweater is great to just throw on without having to churn your brain. I paired this sweater with blue distressed jeans and a grid scarf. A pop of color would have gone down really well too, but I wanted to keep the look in the neutral section.Hence I withdrew myself from the urge of adding any color to this whole look. Also I loved the addition of the nude lace ups that are so comfy and stylish, they definitely scored extra brownie points from me.For accessories I’m sporting this adorable handmade ring by Megan from Jewelrybym_e, it’s dainty and so chic. She has a great collection, make sure to check her etsy store out! Not only does she design and hand make the collection, she customizes them too. What’s better is, they’re all so affordable for the quality and the effort that’s been put in to make them. There’s a 20% off going on right now, so hurry!
I really hope you enjoyed the look, do let me know your take on neutrals. Thanks for reading, until next time, have a fun weekend.
