I can’t believe it’s already that time of the year, when I get to see and meet my family/friends back home in India! By the time you read this post, I’ll probably be on a plane snoring away. This time while I packed my bags, I made sure I did not go over board (like always) and over packed! We women really have a knack to overpack and to justify each item like a boss, don’t we?Haha, but this time I fought all my natural instincts and packed the items that I REALLY require. So, today I decided to do a what’s in my bag;travel edition post and if you guys like this, do leave a comment. This will definitely motivate me to work on similar posts going ahead.
So, PINCHme sent out most of these goodies in their January box and they all fit my travel must have list so perfectly. You too can receive samples of your favorite brands, before you actually go out & buy them. Sounds great, right? Just sign up on their website, complete a small survey and they will send out products based on your answers and interests for FREE! This is a great way of sampling products, especially beauty related items like foundation that vary in shade and color. This is my first box as a PINCHmeVIP member and I must tell you, these are full sized products. I honestly thought they’d send out tiny little samples but no, these are of good size and it’s here for you to see as well.
So here’s a list of all that you would see in my travel bag, some may go in my check in luggage but most in my carry on bag.
A Neck Pillow
Very very important if you’re traveling alone and sitting next to strangers. Unless you want to burden their shoulders as you snore away to glory, it’s a must have! Yes, I am that person, so a neck pillow an essential item for me.
Yup, cannot forget the passport mate!
This is extremely necessary, especially when you feel like you’re done with technology and want to reverse evolution! It’s sad but true that we turn to books only when we’re bored of TV and mobile phones.
Imagine sitting through a 22 hour long flight without your headphones? I know you get a pair of earphones on the plane too, but I am a dramatic person. I like to hear my music on full volume and only a pair of headphones can give me the real feels! Also, cannot forget the charger; most important thing after my phone!
I can’t imagine what it would be like to forget my phone! It might not be that bad after all, I mean right now I feel anxious just thinking about it but in reality I might need help! 😀
Yes, I am that woman who wears men’s perfume!
No amount of sleep or concealer will cover my dark circles and droopy eyes like a pair of sunglasses.
Beauty Related items (c/o PINCHme)
Because I want to be clean, like what else can a hand sanitizer help you with?
Can’t do without my kohl pencil.
When you lose all your patience to draw the perfect winged liner, load up on mascara.
Olay Shea Butter
I am genetically blessed with extremely dry skin and on the flight they go into an hyperactive mode, so shea butter very important for me.
You need this to cleanse your dirty face, obviously.
When you’re lazy to cleanse your face, a swipe of a wet wipe to the rescue. Actually I may need more than just a swipe, for sure!
Transparent Nail Polish
I am so indecisive about nail colors that I always feel safer to use a transparent coat to make my hands look a little presentable. Even though it hardly makes a difference, in my mind it does.
Argan oil (c/o Actually Organic)
I can’t begin to tell you how amazing one pump of this oil is for your skin. It’s mess free because you can just pump out the amount you need, I mostly use this at night before bedtime.
My lip balm has no color so at times when I want to add some color to my lips this blush pink gloss is perfect and subtle. They also keep my lips hydrated.
I need this for sure in India!
Epilator (c/o Emjoi via Lipton Publicity)
I am one lazy woman and this epilator compensates for it by making the hair removal job a lot easier & quicker!
Snacks & Chewing Gum
I am always hungry, so these two are my bag’s permanent residents!
Camera – Of course, cannot do a trip without my camera!
I’m off to make memories, eat my favorite home cooked food, savor the street side bites and most of all be home to spend time with my family. Follow me on Instagram to see my trip/travel pictures and I’ll try to post regularly on the blog too. Thanks for stopping by, have an amazing week ahead, see you on the other side!
